The Fable…

Emma and Priya are two creative, grounded women in their late twenties and early thirties sharing a modern new-build apartment in Haringey. Emma is a cool, French marketing professional with a love for culture, movement, and understated style; she balances a sociable city life with quiet routines that keep her centred. Priya is a British-Indian freelance designer and illustrator whose life is shaped by creativity, mindfulness, and warmth, bringing a calm, thoughtful energy to everything she does.

Individually, their interests reflect their personalities. Emma enjoys running in Finsbury Park, cycling around North London, discovering cafés and wine bars, travelling around Europe, and staying inspired by art, photography, and contemporary culture. Priya spends her free time practicing yoga, cooking colourful vegetarian meals, sketching and journaling, visiting art and design markets, caring for plants, and embracing slow, intentional living. Together, they share a love of good food, local markets, art fairs, relaxed social evenings, and exploring London’s neighbourhoods — equally happy hosting friends at home or wandering the city on weekends.

Their apartment mirrors this balance perfectly. The space is light, modern, and uncluttered, with clean lines and neutral tones softened by warm textures, plants, and carefully chosen art. Emma’s minimalist, European sensibility shows in the simplicity and flow of the space, while Priya’s creative touch adds colour, tactility, and personality through handmade ceramics, soft lighting, and layered details. The result is a home that feels calm yet lived-in — a reflection of two women whose shared values of creativity, balance, and thoughtful living turn a new-build flat into a genuine home.
